I am currently a military wife and mother of 3 children. Our children are 2 , 6 & 11 years old. I’m blessed to be able to stay at home with my children. I have always done some freelance writing and side jobs to earn a little money to help out and maintain my sanity. I enjoy many hobbies including reading, re-decorating, blogging to journal our crazy life, taking photographs, carpentry, creating and playing with my kids. I spend my days volunteering at my children’s school, chasing our ever mobile infant who is successfully trying to keep up with her older siblings. I love participating in local groups and communities and have been a Girl Scout leader locally, taught Kindermusik, attend library story times, playgroups, started a Mother Daughter Book Club, and I'm involved with our church. I love being a mom even though I often feel like I'm treading water in unchartered territory. I love that each child is unique and that I constantly am kept on my toes! I love people and I love learning from others.

October 24th, 2012 Kristen Paulsen
Back when I was growing up (in the Depression as my children recently informed me) many kids trick-or-treated into their teen years. Granted we went out towards the end of trick-or-treating and always dragged a few younger siblings as not …
